On that note, how about planting Ramos way back on the warning track? He goes from side to side and in on the ball very well, but is hopeless going back. I'd rather he allow a few more singles by playing back than give up doubles and triples as the ball inevitably sails over his head and eludes his glove.
The remarkable thing about Ramos is that when I was Googling references to him there was story after story about what a huge factor he was with the Giants. Again, All Star last year. Hard to believe he’s here now.
Indeed. With all the new guys coming in -- and Matos needing playing time to fish or cut bait, maybe they'll ship Ramos back to Sacto to try get his groove back. He sure isn't helping the team much these days.
